We are recruiting a Technical Support Specialist on behalf of a fast‑growing international automotive manufacturer in the UK. This role is ideal for an experienced automotive technical professional who enjoys problem‑solving, dealer support and working with new vehicle technologies in a growing brand environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and resolve complex technical cases via the manufacturer’s technical support system
- Provide on‑site technical assistance to the UK dealer network
- Prioritise and manage multiple open cases simultaneously
- Escalate unresolved issues to engineering teams and drive timely resolutions
- Support Quality, Customer Experience and Warranty teams on technical matters
- Review technical documentation from HQ and ensure UK market applicability
- Create and deliver technical training, presentations and dealer seminars
- Develop and update technical bulletins, troubleshooting guides and training materials
About You
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in automotive technical support or diagnostics
- Technical or engineering qualification (Master Technician or equivalent experience considered)
- Strong fault‑finding and diagnostics capability
- Confident using diagnostic tools and engineering logging systems
- Experience with hybrid and EV systems highly desirable
- Able to interpret electrical diagrams and engineering drawings
- Customer‑focused, organised and able to influence at all levels
- Willing to travel UK‑wide, including overnight stays
- Full UK driving licence
