We are currently recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a state-of-the-art workshop in Kelso. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established automotive business offering strong earning potential, structured training, and a great work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs to a high standard
- Diagnose faults using modern diagnostic equipment
- Complete work orders accurately, including labour and parts used
- Conduct vehicle health checks and identify additional work requirements
- Perform repairs in line with manufacturer guidelines
- Prepare new and used vehicles for handover
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
- Liaise with workshop control regarding additional work or delays
Requirements About You
- Fully qualified Vehicle Technician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred)
- Previous experience in a main dealer or busy workshop environment
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence
