Pybus Recruitment is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a leading automotive employer for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join their successful Aftersales team in Guildford.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified technician looking to join a forward-thinking business that invests heavily in training, development, and the latest automotive technologies, including electric vehicles.
The Role
As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs to a high standard, ensuring vehicles are returned to customers safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs
- Diagnose and rectify vehicle faults
- Complete inspections and health checks
- Deliver high standards of workmanship and customer service
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with manufacturer and industry standards
- Maintain accurate job records and documentation
- Work effectively within a busy workshop environment
About You
- To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:
- NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Service Technician, or Mechanic
- A full UK driving licence
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Training & Development
The successful candidate will benefit from ongoing manufacturer-supported training, including the opportunity to achieve IMI Level 3 Electric Vehicle Maintenance and Repair certification, helping to future-proof your career as the automotive industry continues to evolve.
