Location: Covering Scotland and North of England – looking for candidate based in the Central Belt of Scotland

Salary: £50,000-£60,000 (depending on experience) + up to 15% annual bonus + tax efficient company car scheme

Full Time and Permanent – Monday to Friday – 9:00am‑5:30pm

Our client is one of the fastest growing automotive brands in the UK at the moment, bringing innovative products and a fresh customer experience to the UK market. This role of Regional Aftersales Manager will be working directly for the Manufacturer and travelling to the region’s retailers across Scotland and the North of England, the majority of the retailers are based in Scotland.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop robust relationships with your Region's Retailers.
  • Manage and deliver elements with cover, reward challenge and penalty.
  • Become directly involved in customer cases and take ownership of the customer journey.
  • Support Technical and Warranty Teams with managing dealer objections and timeframes.
  • Add elements of technical support and/or warranty into dealer visit agenda.
  • Frequent and planned dealer visits to measure the network's ability to deliver the optimised customer experience.
  • Manage and influence metrics within the Dealer Balance Scorecard (DBS).
  • Attend and support Brand events during the year, which may be outside your region and could run outside of business hours.
  • Bring any customer complaints to a timely and ideal end.
  • Manage reminder funnels and VHC processes to drive repeat and incremental parts purchases.
  • Measure and manage parts returns.
  • Focus on rolling 3,6,9, and 12 month trends.
  • Celebrate and maintain positive trends; measure, qualify and stabilise negative KPI performance.

Requirements:

  • Senior Aftersales Management background either in similar role for OEM Manufacturer or in a Multi-site dealership role.
  • Flexible with daily travel in your region and occasional national travel and overnight stays.
  • Full and clean driving licence.
  • IT Literate – Proficiency in Microsoft Office including reporting and data analysis platforms.
  • Capable of managing a busy diary which may change at a moment’s notice.
  • Natural relationship builder.
  • Robust, calm and efficient operator, able to take on a large amount of responsibility.
  • Adaptable and willing to take new instructions in a business where deadlines and deliverables will test your management skills.
