The Role
As the Workshop Controller, you will play a key role in the day-to‑day management of the bodyshop, ensuring repairs are completed efficiently, to the highest standards, and within agreed timescales.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing workflow and production within the bodyshop
- Coordinating technicians and ensuring maximum productivity
- Monitoring repair progress and meeting delivery deadlines
- Maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction
- Liaising with estimators, parts departments, insurers and customers as required
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures
- Supporting the team in achieving operational and performance targets
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Workshop Controller, Production Manager, or similar role within an Accident Repair Centre / Bodyshop
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage workloads and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience using Autoflow (preferred)
- Full and valid UK driving licence
