Salary: Circa £40,000 + Opportunity for Monthly Team Bonus (£125)

Our client specialises in all aspects of vehicle accident repair, from minor cosmetic damage through to major structural repairs, and has built an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service.

The Role

As the Workshop Controller, you will play a key role in the day-to‑day management of the bodyshop, ensuring repairs are completed efficiently, to the highest standards, and within agreed timescales.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing workflow and production within the bodyshop
  • Coordinating technicians and ensuring maximum productivity
  • Monitoring repair progress and meeting delivery deadlines
  • Maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction
  • Liaising with estimators, parts departments, insurers and customers as required
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures
  • Supporting the team in achieving operational and performance targets

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Workshop Controller, Production Manager, or similar role within an Accident Repair Centre / Bodyshop
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage workloads and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience using Autoflow (preferred)
  • Full and valid UK driving licence
