The Opportunity
We’re now looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to take ownership of PXN Investments—our retail and adviser-focused investment arm spanning EIS, VCT, BR and other tax-efficient products. You will work directly alongside the sales team to drive adviser engagement, generate pipeline and build long-term brand authority across our product range. This is a rare opportunity to help shape and scale a market-leading investments brand at a pivotal point, working directly with our sales team to drive adviser engagement, pipeline and long-term authority across our product range. This is a high autonomy role with ownership of budget, channels and messaging, with the scope to shape how PXN Investments shows up in the market. It also comes with the potential to grow the team, with a direct report being hired within 6-18 months.
Role Description
- Reporting into the Group Marketing Director and working alongside the wider team, you’ll lead external marketing for PXN Investments across the adviser and retail investor journey.
- Deliver end-to-end campaigns targeting financial advisers, intermediaries and investors.
- Drive measurable pipeline growth across EIS, VCT, BR and KI EIS products.
- Own key channels including CRM, email, webinars, events, PR, paid digital, and LinkedIn.
- Lead the evolution of the PXN Investments brand and Adviser Hub.
- Fund-cycle marketing from launch through close, including tax year end and time-sensitive adviser communications.
- Managing external agency and media relationships, including design, digital, and trade press.
- Work closely with BDMs to align marketing activity with sales outcomes.
- Use data and insight to continuously optimise performance and campaign effectiveness.
The role is office-based in Manchester, but there is also the potential to work in the Edinburgh or London offices.
What we’re looking for?
- A strong marketing all-rounder with experience in financial services, ideally with exposure to adviser-led distribution models.
- You will have an excellent understanding of brand strategy, demand generation, content creation and campaign delivery, combined with hands-on expertise in digital, social and analytics.
- Experience marketing investment products (e.g EIS, VCT, BR or similar).
- Strong understanding of the financial adviser / IFA market.
- Proven track record delivering campaigns that generate engagement and pipeline.
- Hands-on across PR, email, events, webinars and digital channels.
- Confident using data, reporting and analytics to improve performance.
- Commercial mindset with the ability to support and influence sales outcomes.
- Comfortable with marketing automation and CRM infrastructure.
- Knowledge of FCA compliance requirements when selling investment products.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and an ability to align multiple departments with complex needs.
- Familiarity with investor relations or financial services marketing is advantageous.
- Marketing degree helpful but not essential.
Pipeline contribution – a core focus on creating adviser-led campaigns that deliver on both brand awareness and pipeline generation goals across key channels such as paid, social, email, search and more.
CRM management – leading on assimilating our CRM management to support the sales team and allow greater integration of our activities for easier reporting, execution on campaigns and automated task creation for BDMs. Hubspot experience is preferred but not essential.
Collaboration – collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure PXN Investments delivers key reports on time and to the best possible standard. Being an active member of the marketing team and supporting others with their own goals.
Business development through partnerships – utilising previous experience and relationships to enhance PXN's prominence in key adviser networks to support the sales team.
Brand Development - seeks to drive new initiatives within PXN Investments’ marketing and communication materials. Looks to bring a ‘new standard’ to the industry and set PXN apart from competition in respect of all external comms.
Prioritisation of tasks – ensure that you are using your time and experience in the most efficient manner.
Sales enablement - works with the sales team, to ensure that our sales support efforts have maximum impact in line with our company objectives.
Stakeholder management – understanding and managing the requirements of the marketing team, PXN Investments team, wider business partners and other stakeholders to deliver on shared objectives. Providing clear sight of current pipeline and future output to all parties involved to support the best internal coordination.
