About The Team The Treasury Analyst is part of the Group Treasury team within the wider Finance function. The team is responsible for all Treasury policies and processes across the group including cash forecasting, liquidity management, debt management, banking relations and fx management. This Is a junior role within a team of three Treasury professionals reporting into the Treasury Manager.

Responsibilities

About The Role As Treasury Analyst you will play a crucial role in all Treasury operations and processes. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with collections team to ensure up to date forecasts are received to feed the group cash forecast.
  • Creating and posting month end journals for interest accruals, cash postings and debt.
  • Assisting the team with the preparation of the group short-term cashflow forecast.
  • Responsibility for daily processes and reporting including daily net debt reporting and bank reconciliations.
  • Monitoring cash balances and processing transfers and payments ensuring cash is in right place at right time.
  • Assisting with Group and SPV statutory annual audits and Securitisation field exams/AUP audits.
  • TMS maintenance ensuring COA is kept up to date and manage user access.
  • Assisting with reporting on FX exposures and executing hedging strategies where appropriate.
  • Bank administration including user management, purchasing cards and ensuring mandates are kept up to date.
  • Actively search for process improvements and efficiency savings.
  • Supporting the team and the wider business with adhoc projects where needed.

What do I need to be successful in this role?

  • Working towards a Treasury professional or accounting qualification (ACT/ACCA/CIMA or equiv.)
  • Previous experience in a corporate Treasury environment (preferable but not essential) Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Efficient multitasker
  • Self-starter
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (in particular Excel)
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
