About The Team

The Treasury Accountant is part of the Group Treasury team within the wider Finance function. The team is responsible for all Treasury policies and processes across the group including cash forecasting, liquidity management, debt management, banking relations and fx management. This role sits within a team of three Treasury professionals reporting into the Treasury Manager.

About The Role

As Treasury Accountant you will play a crucial role in all Treasury operations and processes. Your responsibilities will include:

· Cash forecasting & liquidity management

· Securitisation facility reporting

· Month end journal processing and reporting on debt, interest, fx & cash

· Debt facility management ensuring compliance with facility terms

· Managing FX exposures and executing hedging strategies where appropriate

· Cultivating and maintaining positive relationships with banking partners

· Cash management and initiation of transfers and payments

· Bank administration including user management, purchasing cards and ensuring mandates are kept up to date

· Support on Group and SPV statutory annual audits and Securitisation field exams/AUP audits

· Supporting adhoc projects and initiatives across the business

· You\’ll build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders both internal and external including order 2 cash teams, banking partners, and many more.

· You\’ll create and maintain appropriate Treasury policies and processes.

· You\’ll adopt a solution-oriented approach to all tasks

· You\’ll adopt an analytical approach to the team workload to challenge and drive continuous improvements

What do I need to be successful in this role?

· Treasury professional or accounting qualification (ACT/ACCA/CIMA or equiv.)

· Previous experience in a corporate Treasury environment

· Self-starter

· Advanced Microsoft Office (in particular Excel)

· Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
