Senior Commercial Analyst - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

As a Senior Commercial Analyst you will provide pricing support to the sales channels of PXC incorporating analysis of commercial implications and an understanding of market conditions and competitor activity. This role is a great opportunity to deliver as a Commercial professional, whilst learning and aiming to develop and grow into more senior opportunities in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Development, approval and maintenance of standard pricing and tariffs
  • Key initial point of contact to support, model and propose any bespoke terms and pricing to customers via sales
  • Development and approval of bespoke pricing for large deals as required
  • Understanding of PXC business products and the associated commercials
  • Commercial analysis including tariff profitability, investment business cases, payback analysis as required
  • Review and approval of the commercial sections of customer contracts as required
  • Analysis of competitor propositions and evaluation of the impact on PXC as required
  • Review of proposed new partners and new services prior to acceptance by PXC
  • Providing commercial support and guidance to less senior members of the team
  • Liaison with billing to ensure correct prices are applied and maintained
  • Comply with and reinforce commercial governance
  • Effectively navigate business process across a complex business matrix
  • Authorisation sign‑off level are governed by the PáC DOAG

Qualifications

  • Strong relationship management skills with multi‑level stakeholders
  • Experience in a corporate environment requiring commercial strategy
  • Presentation skills to deliver recommendations and business cases
  • Ability to deal with multiple priorities and adapt quickly and positively to change
  • Proactive, driven self‑starter with a clear ability to take ownership and the initiative to drive success
  • Excellent Excel and Access skills
  • Flexibility, and a good team player

Desirable

  • Significant commercial experience including negotiation
  • Financial modelling skills
