The Sales division within PXC supports sales and organisational growth across the breadth of the PXC product range. The Cloud & Security Sales Specialist role reports into the Team leader of Cloud & Security Sales.
The Cloud & Security Sales Specialist role works with the Sales division of PXC. The role nurtures relationships across the existing PXC partners (Carriers /Service Providers / Re-Sellers / aggregators / MSP’s) with the purpose of onboarding them for our suite of cloud and security-based services. The main goal being to cross and upsell into these partners ultimately building revenue associated to our cloud and security platforms and services including IaaS, data centre footprint, data protection services via our relationship with Acronis, the suite of Fortinet services and associated managed services.
What you will be working on:
- Develop and nurture relationships across the existing PXC customer base (Carriers / Service Providers / Re-Sellers / aggregators / MSP’s).
- Onboarding of partners to services within the Cloud and security product portfolio.
- Seeking and Onboarding of customers for new business opportunities.
- Providing customers with quotations.
- Providing partners with sales enablement training across the cloud and security product portfolio.
- Providing demos of our web portals.
- Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales.
- Gathering market and customer information to support revenue generation.
- Advising customers on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions.
- Work closely with our account managers and account directors to support cross sell opportunities.
What do I need to be successful in this role?
- Solid experience selling IT related products (ideally IaaS SaaS, cyber security and network security).
- Relationships across the UK channel & experience selling cloud and security related services.
- Relationships with key vendors and providers in the cloud and security space.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written & remote/virtual, presentations).
- Solution-sales mentality in an environment with multiple products and services.
- Tenacity, highly self-motivated with the drive for career success.
- Great previous sales track record, you’re on the up in your career wanting to build on this.
- High level of Influence & Persuasion.
- Excellent rapport building, can build, nurture and maintain fruitful relationships.
- High levels of Emotional Intelligence.
- High levels of organisation & planning.
- Experience of Salesforce or similar CRM.
- Experience selling security solutions via a network of partners.
- Fortinet certifications (NSE-1 or higher).
- VMWare certifications (VSP).
- Microsoft Azure AZ-900 or higher.
