About the Role
PXC is pivoting to full fibre connectivity and is committed to take its Partners on the journey, unlocking profitable growth, whilst maximising value across the whole portfolio. As a member of the Commercial Team for broadband, you will be at the centre of this transformation. You will work closely with key stakeholders across Sales, Finance and Product functions to lead on the commercial and pricing propositions for contract renewals, new business opportunities, promotions and new products.
BAU activity for the role will include:
- Modelling and presenting deals and pricing options to the relevant governance forum
- Supporting partner contract management
- Assisting on commercial strategy development and the delivery of ad hoc value-add projects
- Supporting stakeholders on budget process, risks and opportunities
What you will be involved in:
- Structuring pricing and commercial terms on new or renewal business deals, presenting for approval and drafting contractual documentation
- Development and maintenance of rate cards/tariffs in line with commercial strategy / risk management / go to market pricing
- Support on supplier and regulatory price change strategy
- Lead contact for major partnerships including account reviews, partner liaison, contract management
- Presenting at relevant governance forums
- Leading on commercial value-add projects, including initiative generation, assessment and proposal through to implementation
- Financial modelling for major partner deals including validating commercial inputs
- Data owner including data manipulation
What we’re looking for:
- Must have:
- Strong analytical and numeracy skills for financial modelling and solid commercial decision making
- Ability to present confidently and professionally to all levels including financial information to non-financial colleagues
- Expertise in data management and manipulation including via Excel and SQL
- Commercial acumen and initiative
- Strong interpersonal skills, collaboration, stakeholder management and resilience
- Demonstrable ownership and attention to detail
- Be great to also have:
- Financial qualification or working towards
- Experience of process improvement / strategic project delivery
- Proven experience of deal wins, negotiation process and contracting
- Innovative thinker, able to respond quickly in a dynamic environment
