The team comprises managers, senior engineers, engineers, and designers with direct experience in construction projects and operating facilities, as well as exceptional engineering expertise.

It has a track record of delivering an integrated range of services by combining technical and operational excellence, a sound understanding of regulatory environments, and a robust project management system. px consistently delivers safe, efficient, and compliant capital projects and services across diverse industrial sectors.
The Opportunity
We are currently expecting an increase in workload due to upcoming projects and are looking to recruit a Senior Piping Designer on a contract basis to support services to the highest standards, complying with legal obligations and client requirements.
Working with the Piping Team, you will provide piping design technical support and expertise in developing engineering design deliverables and calculations. You will be involved in the development of Concept, FEED, and Detail Design phases, ensuring compliance with all piping work executed according to company, industry, and international standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise for specification, design, purchase, installation, and commissioning within the discipline;
- Provide ongoing technical support to operations and maintenance departments for engineering issues;
- Review and understand documentation related to design, installation, and operation within the discipline;
- Assist in developing solutions to technical issues, considering budget, project schedules, and safety;
- Create functional design specifications and datasheets for equipment, ensuring compliance with procedures and standards;
- Develop and implement engineering procedures, work instructions, standards, and guidance documents.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience in Concept, FEED, and Detailed Design, with knowledge of Quality systems;
- Understanding of safe design and working practices;
- Experience in designing to relevant standards and procedures;
- Ability to contribute to project plans and schedules;
- Experience in site surveys;
- Proficiency in 2D AutoCAD and AutoCAD Plant 3D, including producing 2D piping and equipment plot plans from 3D models;
- Experience in drawing review.
