The primary function of the role is to develop and implement effective communication strategies to ensure that employees are well-informed, engaged, and aligned with the company's purpose and values. This role involves managing all internal communication channels, creating content, and coordinating communication across the organisation. You’ll be supported with personalised on the job training, coaching, mentoring and twice-yearly development and performance reviews to help maintain & develop your contributions and competence.
Our Head Office is based in Stockton-on-Tees and is home to our administrative support teams, engineering & maintenance support team & energy services teams. The Offices are located on the river Tees with close access to walks, shops and restaurants.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute internal communication plans and strategies, ensuring delivered on time and are impactful.
- Support change management efforts, including corporate messaging, organisational updates, product launches, and compliance training.
- Create engaging content for a range of channels including intranet, newsletters, emails and digital platforms to keep employees informed and motivated.
- Manage and own the internal communication channels such as intranet, newsletters, emails and messaging boards.
- Liaise with the various departments and be responsible for ensuring consistent messaging with content writing and support as required.
- Relevant experience in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Skilled in Canva, Mailchimp, and social platforms.
- Proven experience in internal communications or a similar role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail skills.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
