We are an Engineering and Projects Delivery business specializing in design, installation, management, and consultancy of bulk material handling systems, with expertise in tunneling, aggregates, and ports. We have successfully delivered projects across the UK, Europe, and Asia.
Key Responsibilities
The Head of Civil/Structural Engineering is responsible for delivering civil/structural scope across projects, ensuring designs meet safety, compliance, quality, cost, and schedule standards. The role promotes efficiency, cost optimization, and quality through resource management and subject matter expertise, with management and customer-facing duties.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ensuring the quality and timely delivery of civil/structural engineering outputs.
- Ensuring designs are code-compliant, safe, and consider lifecycle requirements.
- Supporting project teams with technical guidance.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
Minimum Requirements:
- BEng (Hons) in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Chartered Engineer (CEng, ICE or IStructE preferred)
- Strong experience in civil/structural engineering
- Knowledge of construction and industry standards
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (STAAD Pro or TEKLA Structures preferred)
- Ability to interpret site investigation reports
