Our Head Office is based in Stockton-on-Tees and is home to our administrative support teams, engineering & maintenance support team & energy services teams. The Offices are located on the river Tees with close access to walks, shops and restaurants.

The Opportunity: We are now recruiting for an E&M Manager EC&I to join our Operations Maintenance Support Team (OMST). In this role you will act as the allocated site's Appointed Person E&M for EC&I matters, in line with business, client and legislative requirements. Providing leadership and management of the allocated site's philosophy, strategy, actions, results and compliance during all operational states.

You will successfully lead/support, direct, organise and oversee the various site E&M Departments, along with own OMST team direct employees, ensuring personnel are fit for work, competent in completing their job role responsibilities and the requirements of the px Group Operating standard, and compliance with legislative requirements.

Ideally, you’ll be based in the North-East/Yorkshire region and are happy to travel, with around 60% of your time at sites around the UK. This could be a couple of days, weeks, or months, onsite, or working remotely, delivering a mix of hands on, projects, outages, role cover, advising, planning, and researching.

You’ll be supported with personalised on the job training, coaching, mentoring and twice-yearly development and performance reviews to help maintain & develop your contributions and competence.

  • Degree in relevant engineering discipline
  • Relevant experience in the process, fuel terminal, refinery or power environment
  • Experience working cross functionally delivering policies, initiatives & compliance with company and legislative requirements
  • Experience of managing budgets, KPIs and development of revenue and capital papers
