Our Head Office is based in Stockton-on-Tees and is home to our administrative support teams, engineering & maintenance support team & energy services teams. The Offices are located on the river Tees with close access to walks, shops and restaurants.
The Cyber Security & Systems Engineer responsibilities include the provision of technical and professional leadership to the CI & Cyber Principal Engineering Authority and the Responsible Systems and Cyber Security Engineers on the operational sites. You’ll be supported with personalised on the job training, coaching, mentoring and twice-yearly development and performance reviews to help maintain & develop your contributions and competence.
Key Responsibilities- Implement strategies for engineering systems and cyber security within the group.
- Provide tactical advice to the group engineers pertaining to cyber security, management of control systems and engineering systems management.
- Be conversant with, and ensure compliance to, relevant legislation, standards, Company policies, Procedures and instructions.
- Ensure NIS Regulations /IEC 62443 / ISO 27001 compliance.
- Support the NIS Responsible Officer (NRO) in his duties.
- Act as the Deputy NIS Responsible Person (DNRO) as and when required.
- Lead the annual Cyber Assessment Frameworks (CAF) submissions to the UK regulatory authorities for Critical National Infrastructure.
- Regular reporting of cyber key performance indicators (KPI’s) to asset owners and the px corporate board.
- Contribute to Cyber Security Risk Assessments providing advice and guidance for implementation of findings and recommended actions.
- Provide asset operations personnel with specific technical support, in coordination with Site support team, ensuring continual and cost-effective improvement of process equipment.
- Propose and justify technical and regulatory compliant modifications to the assets to sustain and improve safety/efficiency/reliability of equipment.
- Providing systems cyber security engineering support for modifications made through Management of Change (MoC) process including risk assessment, design, execution and close out.
- Have a HNC or equivalent in a relevant Engineering discipline.
- Have broad experience across industrial systems, communication systems and security e.g SCADA, PLC, DCS etc.
- Have experience with the management of ageing and obsolescent equipment.
- Have experience with regulatory compliance and adherence to standards.
- Be able to develop and manage suitable cyber KPIs/PSPIs.
- Have knowledge of HASAWA, IEC62443, HSE OG-0086, PUWER, NIS, COMAH.
