This is not a typical "farm content" role. PX Farms is a working farm with a fastâgrowing media operation at its core. Across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and Facebook, our content reaches hundreds of thousands of people every month, with a highly engaged audience and longâterm corporate partners.
We are looking for a creative, handsâon content creator to take a leading role in telling the story of the farm â its people, machines, challenges and wins â through standout video content. If you love filming, editing, experimenting with formats, and watching content grow, this role gives you the space, support and scale to do exactly that.
The opportunity
This is a fullâtime, onâsite creator role where you will own content from idea to upload. You will be trusted to develop ideas, capture real moments, shape narratives and publish content that people genuinely want to watch. You will work closely with the wider team but have real creative autonomy. Content creation here is not an afterthought â itâs central to the business.
You will be creating:
- Behindâtheâscenes storytelling from a working farm
- Content that balances entertainment, education and authenticity
What you will be doing:
- Planning, filming and editing video content for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X and LinkedIn
- Developing content ideas and formats that fit each platform
- Shooting on location around the farm in realâworld conditions
- Writing engaging titles, captions and descriptions
- Publishing and managing content across platforms
- Tracking performance and using insights to refine future content
- Engaging with the audience through comments and messages
- Working with the team to spot stories, moments and opportunities worth capturing
- Supporting merchandise promotion and wider media projects where relevant
What we are looking for:
We care far more about what you can create than formal job titles.
- A social media creator with your own channels
- A videographer who loves storytelling and publishing
- Someone early in their career with strong instincts and ambition
- Someone experienced who wants ownership and variety
You should have:
- A genuine passion for farming, video creation and storytelling
- Experience filming and editing video (professional or personal projects)
- Confidence using editing software such as Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve
- A strong understanding of YouTube and shortâform platforms
- A good eye for visuals, pacing and narrative
- The ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Comfortable working outdoors on a working farm in all seasons
- A full UK driving licence
Nice to have (but not essential):
- Knowledge of YouTube optimisation and SEO
- Experience with thumbnails or basic graphic design
- Interest in agriculture, machinery, food or rural life
What we offer:
- A varied, creative role with real ownership
- The chance to build a serious portfolio across multiple platforms
- A growing audience that watches and engages
- Creative freedom to try ideas and develop formats
- Salary: ÂŁ13 â 15 per hour, depending on experience plus benefits
- 28 days holiday including bank holidays
- Working pattern: 5 days per week (39+ overtime as required)
- Some weekend work during busy farming periods (with flexibility where possible)
How to apply:
Send us (media@pxfarms.com): Your CV and links to examples of content you have created (YouTube channels, social accounts, videos, showreel â professional or personal). We would also love a short note telling us what kind of content you would want to create for PX Farms.
