This challenging and exciting opportunity requires an individual with a strong technical background and demonstrable experience in taking responsibility for the production of piling, foundations and ground engineering estimates, tenders and bids.
Due to continued growth and a peak in forward order tender workload demand, our client is now seeking to appoint a talented and motivated Estimator possessing demonstrable experience within the piling, foundations and ground/geotechnical engineering sector. The role will be to provide accurate and efficient cost estimates for projects throughout the UK.
- Assist the business sector as a whole to meet their financial targets.
- Help to identify and develop potential new opportunities for work.
- Help to identify new suppliers or sub-contractors to improve safety, performance and profit.
- Able to identify the requirements of assigned projects to efficiently and effectively produce a wide range of tenders and estimates for all piling, foundations and GE contracts.
- Accurately prepare quotations considering all costs associated with the delivery of projects.
- Provide hand over files to the Project Team to allow for the successful delivery of contracts.
- Correspond and negotiate with clients, suppliers, contractors and colleagues.
- Monitor and implement controls to ensure tasks are achieved to time, cost and quality.
- Develop and select effective solutions to challenging and complex project requirements, taking into account risk and opportunity.
