Site Engineering Surveyor This challenging and exciting opportunity requires an individual with a good level of qualification, coupled with at least 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role, with expertise gained from the civils, earthworks, enabling works, groundworks or remediation sectors. Our Client Our client has built a reputation for providing their clients with a professional and quality service across many difficult and fast track projects for both the public and private sectors covering heavy and specialist civil engineering, groundworks, earthworks, excavations, demolition, enabling works and remediation. Indeed, they are fully aware of the significant challenges and issues associated with all areas of the construction industry. They will communicate effectively with their clients, engage their staff and operate their business with the utmost integrity at all times. Due to the company’s continued ambitious growth plans and a significant forward order workload of contracts, our client wishes to appoint an experienced Site Engineering Surveyor. The position will provide support to the engineering, project and site management teams. The Role * Conduct site surveys as required, including but not limited to setting out (at this moment), stockpile measurements, as-built surveys, topographic surveys, and monitoring cut and fill progress, as well as overseeing earthwork activities on-site. * Collect, analyse, and interpret survey data using tools such as GPS and total stations. * Proficient in GPS Machine Control (Trimble, Topcon, Leica), including the ability to upload models and manage machine setup checks. * Ensure accurate calculation of cut and fill volumes, aligning actual work with the design model. * Identify discrepancies or potential issues, collaborating with project teams to address them efficiently. * Provide technical advice and guidance to construction teams as required * Coordinate with project and engineering managers to ensure accurate and timely delivery of survey information. * Capable of working independently on-site.
