\This challenging and exciting opportunity requires an individual with a strong technical background and demonstrable experience in taking the responsibility for the production of piling, foundations and ground engineering estimates, tenders and bids.
\Due to continued growth, and a peak in forward order tender workload demand, our client is now seeking to appoint a talented and motivated Estimator possessing demonstrable experience within the piling, foundations and ground / geotechnical engineering sector. The role will be to provide accurate and efficient cost estimates for projects throughout the UK.
\Assist the business sector as a whole to meet their financial targets
\Help to identify and develop potential new opportunities for work
\Help to identify new suppliers or sub-contractors to improve safety, performance and profit
\Able to identify the requirements of assigned projects to efficiently and effectively produce a wide range of tenders and estimates for all piling, foundations and GE contracts
\Accurately prepare quotations considering all costs associated with the delivery of projects
\Provide hand over files to the Project Team to allow for the successful delivery of contracts
\Correspond and negotiate with clients, suppliers, contractors and colleagues
\Monitor and implement controls to ensure tasks are achieved to time, cost and quality
\Develop and select effective solutions to challenging and complex project requirements, taking into account risk and opportunity
