This challenging and exciting opportunity requires a qualified Land Surveyor or Topographical Surveyor possessing at least 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role. An attractive basic salary (permanent) plus bonus, fully expensed commercial vehicle and full benefits package is on offer to the successful candidate. Local works / sites only with no working away from home required.
Due to the company’s continued ambitious growth plans and a significant forward order workload of contracts, our client wishes to appoint an experienced Land Surveyor / Topographical Surveyor who will be responsible for leading and managing all surveying aspects of complex projects. The position will provide support to the engineering, project and site management teams.
The Role
- Verify the accuracy of survey data including measurements and calculations conducted on site
- Calculate heights, depths, relative positions, lines, and other characteristics of terrain to produce accurate volumetric information
- Prepare or supervise preparation of all data, charts, plots, maps, records, and documents related to surveys
- Take measurements and survey data to determine positions and elevations
- Processing surveys and earthworks for ground modelling
- Carry out the surveys and as-builts using Total Station
- Supporting various sites, teams and managers in the successful delivery of projects
- Literacy with industry related software (AutoCAD 3D, BIM or N4CE for example)
