Junior Number 2 Mechanic – Formula E Team

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to thrive in this challenging yet highly rewarding role.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Team & Sporting Director and Chief Mechanic
  • Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of the front end of a Formula E car
  • Assist the Number 1 and Number 2 mechanics during Race prep, including sub-assembly and car set up
  • Keep a record of car part life numbers as well as working to build sheets & technical drawings
  • Assist with pit equipment builds, service and repairs
  • Must have demonstrable previous relevant experience
  • Attend all tracks tests and race events

Qualifications and attributes

  • A proven ability to work to tight deadlines in a group or alone and remain calm under pressure
  • Willingness to work in a dynamic and multicultural environment
  • Self-motivation with a will to contribute to the end goal
  • Good English written and oral communication skills
  • Good computer skills

This position is based at Silverstone in our purpose-built workshop with free onsite parking, an on-site gym and access to peaceful woodland surroundings.

The position requires flexibility and a willingness to travel regularly.
