MK Racing is seeking a confident and experienced No.1 Mechanic to join the team for the remaining race weekends and testing throughout the Ginetta Junior Championship season and beyond.

Role Responsibilities

  • Build, prepare, and maintain race cars to a high professional standard
  • Work closely with the driver and Chief Mechanic to deliver daily plans
  • Support all test days and race weekend activities
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and professional working environment
  • Ensure race cars and equipment are presented to the highest standard at all times
  • Mentor junior mechanics and support a positive learning culture
  • Represent MK Racing and its sponsors professionally on and off track

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in motorsport or a strong mechanical background
  • Practical and methodical approach to work
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude
  • Excellent team-working skills
  • Willingness to travel to UK race circuits
  • Ability to supply some personal tools
  • Passport needed
