The Role:
Are you passionate about high-performance motorsport and driving the future of talent acceleration? We are looking for a Driver Programme Operations Manager to focus on the end-to-end operational delivery of Formula E’s high-performance talent accelerators. You will sit at the operational heart of our driver development pipeline, leading the full logistical and trackside planning of our talent initiatives, from simulator schedules and technical training academies to the coordinated movement of GEN4 race cars. This is a highly collaborative and dynamic role where you will ensure that our driver programmes execute consistent, high-quality operations that align with our B Corp sustainability targets, team agreements, and commercial growth objectives, giving you deep, hands-on experience in global sporting operations.
- Driver Programme & Technical Operations: Lead end-to-end operational delivery for multi-week testing calendars and official Women’s Tests, directly coordinating with Formula E teams, drivers, and technical suppliers. Oversee trackside logistics, garage setups, FIA compliance, telemetry data platforms, paddock credentials, and track timings to ensure complete mechanical and operational readiness across global race events.
- Commercial Activation & Supplier Management: Direct pre-event planning and execution for all on-site partner activations, streamlining paddock integrations for sponsor deliverables. Manage Fan Village tech displays, official gear inventory, B2B hospitality hubs, and external supplier logistics to deliver high-quality, seamlessly executed commercial spaces.
- Digital Media & Content Integration: Oversee trackside media capture schedules by collaborating with drivers, digital agencies, and camera crews to produce high-end vlogs and lifestyle content, maintaining a reliable asset pipeline that guarantees high-impact organic exposure for commercial partners.
- Sustainability & Grassroots Integration: Drive operational tracking of carbon metrics to support ongoing B Corp status, while coordinating local environmental initiatives and providing hands-on operational support for race-week STEM workshops and FIA Girls on Track grassroots programming.
What we’re looking for in you:
- Foundational Experience: You’ll have a solid background in event delivery, technical coordination, or sporting logistics, built upon real-world experience in high-performance sports or motorsport delivery.
- Strategic & Commercial Insight: You have a strong understanding of athlete development pathways and how structured technical setups translate into high-performance athletic outcomes, alongside experience managing multi-stakeholder projects or elite commercial partnerships.
- Uncompromising Organisation: You’re able to ruthlessly organise your work whilst maintaining an uncompromising eye for detail, keeping a calm head under pressure during active, live-broadcast race-weekend operations.
- Proactive & Dynamic Mindset: You’re passionate about diversity in sports, mechanical innovation, and sustainable performance, and you’re confident taking proactive ownership of technical, hospitality, and brand-activation processes.
- Collaborative Communicator: You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and can work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
What’s in it for you?
- 25 days' annual leave, Birthday day off and Wellbeing leave
- Opportunity to extend your stay if travelling for a race event
- Health Cash Plan and access to the Aviva Digital Workplace app
- Enhanced Parental Leave
- Flexible Bank Holidays
- Paid volunteer and carer’s leave
- Cycle to Work and Electric Car Scheme
- Formula E store discount
- Regular social events and employee working groups
