As a volunteer, you will play an important part in strengthening PWN London’s ability to deliver professional, high‑quality events that connect, support, and empower women across industries and career stages. Your expertise in event coordination and project support will improve the efficiency, structure, and delivery of our events programme, ensuring a positive experience for members, partners, speakers and attendees. Your contribution will be particularly valuable as we prepare for PWN London’s 20th Anniversary, a milestone that will showcase the growth and impact of our network.

We are looking for a proactive, organised, and reliable volunteer with at least three years of professional experience in event coordination, event management, project coordination, programme management, or a related field. The ideal volunteer will be comfortable managing multiple priorities, coordinating with different stakeholders, and supporting the delivery of professional events in a collaborative environment. Experience supporting professional, corporate, networking, or community‑focused events would be highly beneficial. We prefer someone based in or near London and who can attend occasional on‑site events in a hybrid setting.

What will you be doing?

  • Event Planning & Coordination: Support the planning and delivery of PWN London events from concept through to execution. Assist with venue sourcing, including researching suitable venues, comparing proposals and liaising with suppliers in line with budgets and event objectives. Coordinate event logistics such as timelines, speaker outreach, registrations, guest lists, event schedules and run‑of‑show documentation. Provide operational and on‑site support during events to help ensure smooth and professional delivery.
  • Vendor, Partner & Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with venues, suppliers, caterers, AV providers, speakers, sponsors and partners to support event execution. Help manage communication with stakeholders and ensure event requirements, deadlines and deliverables are clearly coordinated. Support relationship‑building with corporate partners and collaborators connected to PWN London events.
  • Volunteer & Team Coordination: Work collaboratively with the Events Board and wider volunteer team to support the successful delivery of events. Assist in coordinating volunteers involved in event operations and help ensure a positive and professional experience for members, speakers, guests and partners.
  • Marketing & Event Communications: Collaborate with the Marketing team to support event promotion and attendee engagement. Assist with registrations, attendee tracking, pre‑event communications and post‑event follow‑up. Support initiatives aimed at increasing event participation, member engagement and community growth.
  • Strategic Event Support: Support the planning and delivery of PWN London’s 20th Anniversary initiatives and other key professional events. Contribute ideas, feedback and operational improvements to strengthen future events and member experience. Gain exposure to the full event lifecycle within a collaborative and mission‑driven professional network environment.
