Our client is hiring a Senior Analyst Internal Audit to join their growing team in Belfast. This role supports operational, financial, and IT audits and plays a key part in SOX compliance activities. You will be involved across the full audit lifecycle, including planning, execution, reporting, and follow up on remediation actions. The position also partners closely with finance and business teams to assess risks, improve controls, and support process improvements.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and support operational, financial, and IT audits
- Execute all phases of audit engagements
- Support SOX compliance including walkthroughs and control testing
- Track remediation of audit findings
- Partner with stakeholders on risk and control improvements
- Identify opportunities to improve audit efficiency through automation and data analytics
- Three to five years of internal audit experience
- Degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- Professional certifications preferred: ACCA, CPA, CIA or CISA
- Strong knowledge of SOX, COSO and internal controls
- Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite
- Strong communication and project management skills
