PWHytek Ltd are recruiting for Senior Stress Engineers to support a major nuclear project on a 12 month contract inside IR35. The client is ideally looking for the engineers to start asap and as such they require the team to hold live SC or DV Clearances or be able to obtain this. The client is offering a hybrid work pattern in one of their Winchester site.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting assessments and modelling
  • Producing documentation and reports
  • Working with the design team to ensure that work can be delivered in line with scope
  • Supporting design changes

Requirements:

  • Fracture, fatigue crack growth analysis experience
  • Defect tolerance assessments
  • Familiar with design codes and standards for a safety critical industry
  • Solid experience in the field of mechanical engineering with successful project delivery
  • Experience working on defence and/or nuclear projects (desirable)
  • Sufficient experience to carry out the role with little assistance
