We are recruiting for 2x EC&I Safety System Design Engineers for several major nuclear projects based in Warrington. To work within the CE&I design team delivering, supporting others delivering and checking Safety System design packages to meet safety, functional and business needs. We are offering full time roles on a hybrid basis (12 months Inside IR35 + extensions) and permanent employment contracts, the client are offering an attractive rate and salary/package.
Essential Experience:
- Academic Qualification: Minimum - HNC
- Professional Qualification: Minimum - Incorporated Engineer
- Experience: Minimum 3 years successfully delivering as a CE&I Safety System Design Engineer on external multidiscipline projects, from concept design through to handover, with a working knowledge of the appropriate Engineering Standards
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to convey information to other team members/disciplines
- Providing support to Commissioning
- willingness to support early career Engineers
Desirable Experience:
- Minimum 5 years successfully delivering as a CE&I Safety System Design Engineer on external and/or SL multidiscipline projects, from concept design through to handover, with a working understanding of the appropriate Engineering Standards
- Evidence of applying a pragmatic approach to the delivery of new/modified safety requirements on existing systems
