We are recruiting for a Technical Author on a 12-month contract inside IR35. These contracts are highly likely to be extended. The client is offering hybrid working with 2 days a week from their Bristol office. An Ideal Candidate would be someone with: * Experience of writing technical scope documentation for NEC4 (or NEC predecessors) contracts, presumably for fixed price scope of works. * Experience writing technical bid documentation ideally as the lead author. * Able to work independently with minimal supervision and/or manage a team of technical authors. * A Background in Engineering (preferably nuclear industry) but with understanding of commercial terminology/ approaches. * An Ability to articulate complex technical requirements in clear English to allow subcontractors to assess scopes and price accordingly. * SC clearance.
