PWHytek LTD are looking for Piping Designers at all seniorities from Design level up to Lead on a 12-month contract inside IR35 (+ Extensions) or on a permanent basis. The client is offering a hybrid working pattern from their offices based in Warrington, Preston or Hull.

An Ideal Candidate would:

  • Be competent in Plant 3D
  • Able to identify different stress packages through review of P&IDs & Line lists
  • Review and check designs, drawings, and data from vendors
  • Have experience within the Nuclear sector (This is not essential)
  • Be able to work independently with minimal supervision and/or manage a team
  • Be able to obtain security clearance.

Duties would include:

  • Finalising stress analysis design basis, critical line list, data sheets, support specifications
  • Checking Plant 3D models for routing and compliance with stress ISOs and specifications
  • Assisting with the development of Cats & Specs for Plant 3D
  • Potential site visits and data collection from Client's offices / plants
  • Co-ordination with Piping Engineers and Designers and other disciplines as required for interfaces
