We’re supporting a leading composites manufacturer in North Yorkshire experiencing increased production demand. We’re seeking two Manufacturing Engineers with composites experience to support production, process improvement and manufacturing operations. You’ll work with production, quality, design and operations teams to resolve manufacturing issues, improve processes and support delivery of high-performance composite products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support composite manufacturing operations.
  • Develop and improve manufacturing methods, process documentation and work instructions.
  • Resolve production and process issues.
  • Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions.
  • Drive continuous improvement focused on quality, efficiency and throughput.
  • Support NPI and manufacturing readiness activities.
  • Assist with process validation and risk reduction.
  • Ensure compliance with customer, aerospace and AS9100 requirements.

Experience Required

  • Manufacturing Engineering experience in composite production.
  • Strong understanding of composite manufacturing processes.
  • Experience creating and improving manufacturing documentation.
  • Proven problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with production, quality and engineering teams.

Desirable

  • Aerospace composites experience.
  • Defence, motorsport, marine or high-performance engineering backgrounds.
  • AS9100 knowledge.
  • Lean manufacturing experience.
  • NPI support experience.
