Forklift Truck Drivers- Welwyn Garden City

Overview

We have several opportunities at one of our Welwyn Garden City depots, for accredited and experienced forklift truck drivers, to join our night hub operation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all safety checks and relevant documentation on forklifts are completed at the start of the shift.
• Drive at the relevant speed that is suitable for the following:
  • Type of load
  • Surface conditions
  • The environment
• Ensure the correct weight distribution of all trailers and vehicles.
• Observe site rules at all times.
• Co-operate completely with all Health & Safety.
• Loading and unloading lorries
• Scan all pallets on vehicle, inbound and outbound

What is required

• Hold an accredited counter balance licence.
• Have recent driving history
• Must be prepared to work a permanent night shift.

Shifts

• Shifts available: Monday to Friday – 45 Hours per week, includes unpaid breaks
• 15:00 – 00:00
• 20:00 – 05:00
• 21:00 – 06:00
• Immediate Start
• Plus, a £150 per Month Attendance Bonus
