Key Responsibilities
- Produce and maintain high-quality engineering documentation, including quality plans and technical specifications
- Manage technical queries in line with approved processes and procedures
- Support contractor selection, tender evaluation and contract placement
- Review contractor designs, drawings and technical submissions
- Undertake feasibility studies, site surveys and technical appraisals
- Prepare Engineering Change documentation and manage impacted records
- Lead or support commissioning activities and testing where required
- Liaise closely with designers, station engineers and stakeholders
- Support Project and Construction Managers to deliver work safely and effectively
Qualifications & Requirements
- Mandatory – must have worked on a generating power station.
- Chartered Engineer status or HND (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience using CADMECH – essential
- SMSTS qualification
- Understanding of safety, environmental and quality compliance
- Experience working under CDM regulations
- Electrical power systems design or installation experience preferred
- Strong communication, organisation and stakeholder skills
- Experience in highly regulated environments
