Experienced Site Engineer to support a Gas Transmission Asset Health Upgrade Project. This role is ideal for a proactive engineer with strong setting-out, quality assurance, AutoCAD and documentation skills, particularly within live gas or high-risk infrastructure environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out accurate setting out for civil, mechanical, and pipeline-related works
- Produce, implement, and manage ITPs in line with project and client requirements
- Maintain, update, and control red line drawings throughout the construction phase
- Ensure works are delivered in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and industry standards
- Complete and manage quality assurance documentation, including check sheets, inspection records, and as-built information
- Liaise with site management, designers, and subcontractors to resolve technical queries
- Competent in setting out using GPS / total station equipment (Own survey equipment required)
- Competent in using AUTOCAD and producing required survey drawings
Qualifications
- HNC / HND / Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Valid CSCS card (essential)
- EUSR - SHEA Gas is required to work on site
