We are recruiting for a talented Project Engineer to join our clients Engineering and Technical Solutions team based at Dungeness B power station, with occasional business travel to other UK sites. A background of working at Power Stations and Nuclear Licensed Sites is preferred but not essential. Proven history of working within highly regulated environments with high safety standards is advantageous.
Please note this client does not offer VISA sponsorship, only candidates with full Right to Work in the UK and relevant experience will be considered.
Key Responsibilities- Producing and maintaining project engineering documentation including quality plans and technical specifications
- Management of technical queries in accordance with relevant processes and procedures
- Supporting the process of contractor selection and contract placement
- Technical reviews of contractor documents and drawings
- Conducting technical appraisals of project options
- Performing feasibility studies, site surveys and liaison with designers and station engineering staff as required
- Prepare Engineering Changes and manage the preparation of supporting and affected documents
- Commissioning documents and act as test team leader where appropriate
- Supporting the Project Manager and Construction Manager in managing the project and ensuring the work is conducted in a safe, timely and effective manner to its conclusion
