Engineer the future of clean energy on one of the UK's most important nuclear power stations. Join a high-performing engineering team delivering complex projects that support the UK's low-carbon energy future. Based at Heysham Power Station, this role offers the opportunity to work across the full project lifecycle within a highly regulated environment, while developing your technical expertise alongside some of the industry's most experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce and maintain engineering documentation, quality plans and technical specifications.
  • Manage technical queries in line with project processes and procedures.
  • Review contractor drawings, documents and technical submissions.
  • Carry out feasibility studies, site surveys and technical appraisals.
  • Prepare and manage Engineering Change documentation.
  • Support contractor selection and contract placement activities.
  • Lead commissioning documentation and testing where required.
  • Collaborate with Project and Construction Managers to deliver projects safely and efficiently.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Chartered Engineer, HND or equivalent engineering qualification.
  • SMSTS qualification.
  • Experience delivering projects within highly regulated industries.
  • Knowledge of CDM and construction project delivery.
  • Strong understanding of safety, quality and environmental compliance.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Nuclear or power station experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Project management qualifications are advantageous.
