Bring complex energy projects to life through precise, high-quality structural design and 3D modelling. This is an exciting opportunity for a Structural Designer to play a key role in delivering innovative engineering solutions across offshore, onshore, and energy projects. You will work closely with engineers and multidisciplinary teams, translating concepts into detailed, buildable designs. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 3D structural models using Aveva E3D (essential)
- Produce 2D and 3D drawings including layouts, details and fabrication packs
- Model structural steelwork, supports, platforms and interfaces
- Translate engineering inputs into accurate models and drawings
- Participate in multidisciplinary model reviews and resolve clashes
- Ensure constructability and coordination across disciplines
- Produce GA drawings, schedules and material take-offs
- Maintain model integrity and version control throughout projects
- Update designs based on engineering changes and site feedback
- Support fabrication and construction teams with design queries
Qualifications & Requirements
- HNC/HND or equivalent in Structural, Mechanical or Civil Engineering
- Extensive experience using Aveva E3D for structural modelling
- Strong experience with AutoCAD; SolidWorks advantageous
- Experience in offshore, onshore or energy projects
- Proven ability to produce fabrication-ready drawings
- Experience working within multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Strong understanding of structural steelwork and fabrication methods
- Ability to interpret engineering sketches and specifications
- Proficiency with model review tools; Navisworks Manage advantageous
- Strong organisational and communication skills
