Design and deliver high-impact piping systems for complex offshore oil and gas projects. This is an exciting opportunity for a Piping Engineer to take ownership of piping design across major offshore developments. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring designs are technically robust and compliant with industry standards. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed piping designs, layouts, and isometrics
- Ensure compliance with industry codes and standards (ASME, ANSI, ISO, API)
- Produce technical documentation including specifications, datasheets, and material take-offs
- Participate in design reviews, clash detection, and constructability assessments
- Coordinate with mechanical, structural, instrumentation, and other disciplines
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and designers
- Support procurement, vendor queries, and client technical requests
- Conduct calculations and analysis to ensure safe and efficient design solutions
- Review and approve drawings and engineering deliverables
- Support installation, commissioning, and operational interfaces where required
Qualifications & Requirements
- HND, HNC, or degree in Mechanical, Piping, or relevant Engineering discipline
- Minimum 5–10 years’ experience in offshore oil and gas piping design
- Proven experience producing fabrication-ready drawings and 3D models
- Strong knowledge of piping codes and standards (ASME B31, ISO, API)
- Experience with piping design software such as PDMS, Aveva E3D
- Familiarity with materials selection, stress analysis, and pipe supports
- Strong understanding of offshore constructability and installation practices
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills
- Professional, approachable, and able to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines
