This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and organised Junior Project Engineer to join a growing renewable energy business delivering innovative solar PV projects. You will gain hands‑on exposure across live projects, work alongside experienced professionals, and build valuable technical and commercial skills within a supportive environment focused on development and progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of renewable energy and electrical projects from enquiry to completion
- Prepare quotations, estimates, and technical proposals
- Coordinate site surveys, installations, deliveries, and access equipment
- Liaise professionally with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and installers
- Maintain project trackers, CRM systems, and compliance records
- Assist with procurement, material ordering, and delivery tracking
- Prepare commissioning documents, O&M manuals, and handover packs
- Support DNO/ENA applications and project compliance activities
- Attend site visits to develop technical knowledge of renewable systems
- Assist with invoicing, project costing, and tracking additional works
Qualifications & Requirements
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 including Excel and SharePoint
- Ability to manage multiple tasks across live projects
- Professional and customer-focused approach
- Full UK driving licence
- Interest in renewable energy and low‑carbon technologies
- Engineering, construction, renewables, or electrical background desirable
- Familiarity with CAD or project management software advantageous
- Positive, proactive, and team‑oriented mindset
