This is a hands-on mechanical role where your expertise directly supports essential Water and Wastewater Treatment operations nationwide. You will work on varied, technically interesting installations, combining factory-based builds with site delivery across live environments. Key Responsibilities
- Install, manufacture and modify mechanical and process equipment to high quality standards
- Carry out fault finding and reactive repairs efficiently
- Interpret drawings and specifications to deliver accurate installations
- Coordinate and supervise contractor activities on site
- Maintain clear communication between site and office teams
- Produce site reports, diaries and photographic records
- Prepare RAMS and ensure full Health and Safety compliance
- Record testing data accurately on relevant documentation
- Maintain clean, safe and well-organised work areas
- Act as a professional ambassador, promoting positive client relationships
Qualifications & Requirements
- Apprenticeship served in a mechanical or electrical discipline
- Minimum 3 years mechanical installation experience in site-based environments
- Knowledge of the Water or Utilities sector
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong Health and Safety awareness
- PVC-U pipefitting experience
- CSCS card
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 or 3 in a relevant discipline
