Key Responsibilities
- Lead and promote a positive HSE culture across site project teams
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, standards and procedures
- Develop and implement project-specific HSE documentation
- Monitor and report on HSE performance and improvement initiatives
- Support contractor selection, onboarding and compliance monitoring
- Conduct site audits, inspections and HSE walks
- Investigate incidents and support reporting processes
- Deliver inductions and HSE training across project teams
- Provide guidance to stakeholders on all HSE matters
- Collaborate with wider safety and environmental teams
Qualifications & Requirements
- HNC or equivalent in a relevant discipline
- NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum)
- Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations
- IOSH membership (or working towards)
- Experience in construction, engineering or nuclear environments
- Strong understanding of HSE management systems
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to influence and drive behavioural safety
- Experience auditing and improving HSE performance
- Proactive and detail-oriented approach
