Key Responsibilities
- Define and validate technical requirements and specifications across ancillary civil works.
- Lead and support technical and digital design assurance activities.
- Coordinate fully integrated civil designs, including 3D model environments.
- Manage technical interfaces across multi-disciplinary and programme stakeholders.
- Provide engineering input into early warnings, compensation events and technical queries.
- Integrate construction methodology and site logistics into design solutions.
- Ensure compliance with engineering governance, CDM duties and design processes.
- Support delivery against contract schedules and the integrated work schedule.
- Manage technical risks, surveillance activities and open design actions.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Chartered or working towards).
- Strong experience across concept to construction in heavy civils or infrastructure works.
- Proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary technical delivery.
- Knowledge of UK design standards and RIBA Plan of Work.
- Experience working in highly regulated or safety-critical environments.
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.
- Desirable: experience in nuclear projects, NEC contracts or EPR design.
