Key Responsibilities
- Produce and maintain engineering documentation, quality plans and technical specifications
- Manage technical queries in line with project procedures and compliance standards
- Support contractor selection, tender evaluation and contract placement
- Review contractor drawings and technical documentation
- Conduct technical appraisals and feasibility studies for project solutions
- Carry out site surveys and liaise with station engineering teams and designers
- Prepare and manage engineering changes and associated documentation
- Support commissioning activities and act as Test Team Leader where required
- Assist Project and Construction Managers to deliver projects safely and efficiently
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and quality standards throughout delivery
Qualifications & Requirements
- Chartered Engineer status or HND qualified in a relevant discipline
- Experience within highly regulated industries with strong safety standards
- Knowledge of construction project delivery under CDM regulations
- SMSTS qualification preferred
- Strong understanding of engineering documentation and technical reviews
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Experience managing engineering changes and commissioning activities
- Formal project management qualifications beneficial but not essential
- Nuclear or power station experience advantageous
- Collaborative and proactive approach to problem solving
