This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer to take ownership of high-value offshore projects within the energy sector. You will drive delivery from concept through to installation, working at the forefront of engineering excellence while influencing key stakeholders and leading high-performing teams. Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of complex offshore projects from handover to final completion
- Drive project performance across cost, schedule, quality, and customer satisfaction
- Act as the technical and commercial focal point for clients, stakeholders, and third parties
- Identify, assess, and mitigate commercial, contractual, design, and schedule risks
- Define and manage project plans, including critical path and QA/QC requirements
- Ensure full compliance with QHSE standards and ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 frameworks
- Maintain accurate financial tracking, forecasting costs, and highlighting variances early
- Support bid and tender processes, contributing technical, operational, and commercial input
- Oversee procurement of materials and services to meet project timelines
- Mentor and develop junior engineers, supporting capability growth within the team
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones and delivery gates are achieved
- Prepare and manage project documentation, ensuring delivery aligns with agreed specifications
Qualifications & Requirements
- Degree or HND/HNC in Engineering, Maths, or Physics (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience in a similar project engineering role
- Proven success delivering complex engineering or offshore projects
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in financial forecasting and cost control
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Proficiency in MS Office tools
- Experience in offshore, subsea, or drilling environments (desirable)
- Project management certifications such as PRINCE2 or APM (desirable)
