I'm currently supporting a specialist offshore engineering organisation in their search for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the engineering and design delivery of a Minimum Facilities Jacket Platform FEED project based in Norwich.
This role will suit a senior engineering professional with a strong background in offshore platform engineering, FEED execution, and multidisciplinary team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities throughout the FEED phase
- Work closely with Project Managers to ensure engineering deliverables are achieved on schedule and within budget
- Oversee technical reviews, engineering calculations, reports, specifications, and design documentation
- Manage engineering resources and provide technical leadership across disciplines
- Chair design reviews and ensure compliance with industry standards and engineering best practices
- Interface with clients, stakeholders, and third-party reviewers
What We're Looking For:
- 10+ years' offshore engineering experience
- Extensive experience with offshore platform engineering and structural design
- Proven delivery of Concept, Pre-FEED and FEED projects
- Strong leadership experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Experience preparing and presenting engineering design packages for client approval
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Chartered Engineer status
- Experience with jacket platform developments
- Knowledge of topsides, process, piping, subsea systems, lifting operations, fabrication, and installation
- Familiarity with ANSYS, Mathcad, AutoCAD and SolidWorks
