Lead energy procurement strategy, influence business growth and help shape the future of energy management across the UK. We are seeking an experienced Energy Procurement Manager to join a highly successful and growing organisation operating at the heart of the UK’s energy sector. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of strategic electricity and gas procurement activities, develop supplier partnerships and work with a high-performing team. Working within a rapidly evolving market shaped by industry reforms such as Targeted Charging Review (TCR) and Market-wide Half-Hourly Settlement (MHHS), you will play a key role in delivering value to members while driving commercial growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Energy team in delivering a seamless end-to-end member journey from procurement and onboarding through to ongoing supply management.
  • Develop and implement effective electricity and gas procurement strategies aligned to business objectives and market conditions.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities to increase member commitment and drive volume growth.
  • Build, manage and strengthen relationships with energy suppliers and key stakeholders.
  • Contribute to business planning, budget forecasting and performance reporting.
  • Manage, mentor and develop team members to exceed business targets and KPIs.
  • Develop and enhance existing and new energy products and services.
  • Identify operational efficiencies and implement process improvements and automation where appropriate.
  • Monitor energy markets and communicate opportunities, risks and procurement recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures, industry regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with wider procurement teams to identify cross-selling opportunities and share best practice.
  • Represent the business at industry events, exhibitions and member engagements.
