Design complex offshore engineering solutions that make a real difference across the global energy industry. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to deliver mechanical design solutions across topside and subsea offshore projects. You will work on technically challenging projects spanning oil and gas, decommissioning, carbon capture, renewables and hydrogen. You will have the autonomy to develop concepts into robust engineering solutions while collaborating with experienced project and engineering teams. Lead mechanical design activities from concept through to completion. Develop and manage design tasks against project milestones and deadlines. Produce mechanical and structural calculations, FEA and technical drawings. Prepare URS documents, design packs and supporting technical documentation. Chair and present design reviews to internal and external stakeholders. Support proposals through design solutions, resource planning and delivery input. Strong mechanical design experience within an offshore environment. Experience across both topside and subsea projects. Mechanical and structural 2D and 3D CAD capability. Strong design calculation, analytical and FEA skills. Experience preparing and presenting design packs for third-party approval. Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to project teams. Strong focus on quality, deadlines, research and continuous improvement.
