Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data models supporting change control processes
- Build and optimise PowerBI dashboards using Databricks data models
- Deliver data engineering solutions using SQL and Python
- Align business requirements with data logic and reporting outputs
- Collaborate with IT, IIM, and IDA stakeholders
- Drive adoption of data-centric tools and ways of working
- Support team upskilling and knowledge sharing initiatives
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance standards
- Enable data-driven insights for project decision-making
Qualifications & Requirements
- Degree in a science, engineering, or technical discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience in data engineering, software development, and visualisation
- Strong coding skills in SQL and Python
- Experience with Databricks and PowerBI
- Solid database management expertise
- Strong organisational and project coordination skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Ability to manage issues and escalate effectively
- Experience in regulated industries (nuclear desirable)
- Understanding of budget and schedule management advantageous
