This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for an experienced professional ready to step into a pivotal governance role within a major nuclear project. You will shape how valuable engineering and design data is managed, shared and protected, balancing delivery priorities with regulatory and contractual compliance. The role offers strong visibility, cross-functional influence and the chance to broaden your career into intellectual property governance within a highly regulated environment. You will work with senior stakeholders across engineering, legal, IT and supply chain, supported by training to build IP-specific expertise in a sector that values rigour, integrity and long-term thinking.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and maintain governance frameworks for licensed technical data
- Own and embed Intellectual Property Licensing Agreement processes
- Act as the primary point of contact for IP-related queries and issues
- Ensure contractual IP obligations are met while supporting delivery
- Coordinate with Legal, Engineering, IT and Supply Chain teams
- Represent IP in audits, governance forums and assurance activities
- Improve IP tools, workflows and service design
- Enable secure, traceable data exchange between major nuclear projects
Qualifications and Requirements
- Experience in the nuclear sector or a UK regulated environment
- Strong project or service management capability
- Proven delivery within governance, risk or compliance frameworks
- Ability to interpret and apply contractual IP terms pragmatically
- Confident stakeholder engagement across multidisciplinary teams
- Structured, proactive decision-making in ambiguous situations
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills
- IP systems or PLM tools experience and formal PM training
