We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Projects to join our clients Executive Senior Leadership Team. This is a pivotal role in an organisation that is on a strong upward growth trajectory, with a confirmed order book and a reputation as one of the world’s largest EPC contractors for the offshore industry.

As a business, they are continuously expanding, delivering expert offshore substation maintenance, repair, hook-up, and commissioning solutions to the offshore wind industry. The Head of Projects will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of both tenders and projects across their portfolio, driving operational excellence, and supporting continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership across project delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives and long-term vision.
• Oversee financial and operational performance of all ongoing and future projects, ensuring efficient governance and risk mitigation.
• Lead business development initiatives, managing client relationships, identifying new opportunities, and influencing tender strategies.
• Implement and monitor operational systems and processes to maximise efficiency and productivity.
• Champion compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence within project execution.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A relevant degree, HNC, or Level 7 NVQ.
• 10+ years of senior leadership experience at operational level in a related industry.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, with a record of optimising costs and driving operational efficiencies.
• Expertise in project governance, contract management, and risk mitigation.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead and influence at all levels.
• A commitment to diversity, inclusivity, and employee wellbeing.
• Elevated levels of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Technical & IT Skills

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio).
• Experience with data analysis, reporting, and process improvement.
